Minicraft, the game Notch made for Ludum Dare 22.

The `minicraft.zip` and `minicraft_source.zip` files were downloaded by getting the URLs from the Wayback Machine copy of the Ludum Dare website: <https://web.archive.org/web/20120112143914/http://www.ludumdare.com/compo/ludum-dare-22/?action=preview&uid=398>. The files can still be downloaded from the internet, as of now (<https://s3.amazonaws.com/ld48/ld22/minicraft.zip> and <https://s3.amazonaws.com/ld48/ld22/minicraft_source.zip>, respectively).
`start` was made by me.
To play the game:
1. Download `minicraft.zip` and `start`.
2. Get a JDK (not JRE) for Java 8 (older should also work) if you don't have one. I recommend Zulu: <https://www.azul.com/downloads/?version=java-8-lts&package=jdk-fx#download-openjdk>.
3. Unpack `minicraft.zip`. It contains `ld22.jar` (which is important) and `index.html` (which is not, you can either delete it or keep it for archival purposes).
4. Move `start` to the same directory `ld22.jar` is in.
5. Open a terminal (or the Command Prompt, if you use Windows) in that directory and run `appletviewer start` (the `appletviewer` binary is included in the JDK).
